Part I - Part II

All we wanted was to hold each other and talk as best friends without worrying about what people would think or if it'd be right or wrong 'cause when we were 'together' everything was alright - even we weren't so close as we wish. That was the place. Two hearts ready to confide. In my head there was just you.

I realized he tried with all of his efforts to not let me go. I didn't want to, either. I could stay there forever just enjoying the meeting of our eyes.

When everything feels like the movies

The time to say goodbye came anyway. There's nothing we could do. Too early to say I love you. Too late to another chance. Maybe our paths will cross again in the future, but for now... 

It was the end of something that could happen;

It was the end of something we would never know if could be...

#1 The Best Live Performances: Demi in Rio de Janeiro

It's always hard to choose the best moments on a concert. Each second is so special when you truly enjoy the music. However, I tried to choose my favorite parts of Demi Lovato concert in Rio de Janeiro at HSBC arena. (05.27.10).

Two months. I miss her and I can't wait to see Demi and all crew on November 7th.

# 1 - (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman

She just sings it when she is connected with the audience. And every time I see this video I can't stop my tears. It was a pleasure to see my diva perfoming this amazing song. It was a gift. I'm not trying to say the concert in Rio was the best, but it was so special and nobody can't deny it. 

# 2 - Catch Me

OMG it was amazing hear everybody singing it out loud. She was touched by fans. The smile she gave us expressed all happiness she was felling. I'm so proud of Rio. I'm so proud of Demi. She deserves everything she has conquered.

#3 - Here We Go Again

I love her face at 0:07 and how she got surprise because the audience was singing out loud. For me it was one the best moments of the concert and every time this song comes on my playlist it's impossible not to remember that amazing day.

#4 - U Got Nothin' on Me

I guess this song describes exactly what she was feeling at that week... This performance was too intense. 

#5 - Every Time You Lie

It's my favorite song from the second album Here We Go Again... So I couldn't left this performance out.

#7 Two World Collide

Two World Collide will be always special to fans in Rio. Last year we sang along. Demi was broken and needed friends. She cried and knew we always would be there. This year she thanked us for making her smile.

I used not to like Stop the World so much, but since I saw she perfoming it live I just can't take this song off my mind.

Scars - Part II

I lost the reflex to resist and I could get used to this

The last day I saw him is still clear on my mind. I remember how his face changed when I walked into the room. I could feel his smile hitting me while I said good morning. 'I dare you to move. Like today never happened'. Then I was afraid I wouldn't be able to move myself. It's indescribable the way he affected me. We knew we weren't made for each other, but who said there was anything on this universe that could slow us down? The contradiction of what we felt made us alive as we never had been. The feeling just woke up someone we just didn't know yet.

What day is it and in what month
This clock never seemed so alive
I can't keep up and I can't back down

Eye to eye. Suddenly we had to learn to breath again. Many things to say... But the words just ran away.

Scars

I remember those simple things. I remember until I cry
But the one thing I wish I'd forget. The memory I wanna forget is goodbye

Sometimes I wish I could be less perceptive. However, it'd sacrifice the way his smile made me feel. When he was far away, he was always serious. When he was around me, he looks so different, he glowed. Somehow it looks like he wanted to be around when he shouldn't.

It was a beautiful day. I threw my worries away.

I just didn't realize that every simple thing would be over. I was enjoying life. Nothing does matter at that moment. Everything looked it would last forever, but it didn't. Actually, it was so brief. On the other hand, not so brief to make me forget each detail, each second. It was fast, but intense.

In the end of the day I catched a glimpse of his eyes. I saw pain and I can't forget his disappointed eyes. The little thread of hope seemed cropped, and this memory haunts me.

Or maybe everything is just in my fertile imagination...

What Does It Mean To Truly Love Another?

I decided to talk a little about Dear John, but I have been here for a while trying to figure out how I can start. I totally love Nicholas' love stories; Even I just read A Walk to Remember, A Bend In The Road and The Last Song. I can totally say he's such a genius writer. 

"the saddest people I've ever met in life are the ones who don't care deeply about anything at all. Passion and satisfaction go hand in hand, and without them, any happiness is only temporary, because there's nothing to make it last."  

Savannah Lynn Curtis (Dear John)

Of course we always want the happy end, just like a fairytale. However, changing the end would sacrifice everything Nicholas wants to bring us throught the book. By the way the happy end would make the book so cliché, and maybe out of the reality.

Dear Jonh is one of the beautiful stories I have read and probably many people just couldn't get the whole meaning just because John and Savannah followed different ways, but the main message is so powerful and nobody can deny. Sometimes a reciprocal love can be so hard... So try to imagine an unconditional love? Of course the book talks about many other subjects... All of them are so intense.

Dear John will make you cry, love, learn, understand... You definitely should read this book when you get a chance.

Brazil Is Out

I really don't think it's just Dunga's fault. I know he's the coach... But we can't deny the players lost their head... They were so great on the 1st period. They came back then Netherlands got the first goal... They looked like they don't even know what they were doing there.

I'm not disappointed at all, but I'm so sad... Mainly because we breath soccer... Of course we’re gonna cry (and it's more than 190 million hearts crying right now), scream, curse, set things on fire when we do or don’t win. Football (or soccer, as you please) became a huge thing in Brazil, a sick thing. Yeah, we close businesses down and this becomes a holiday. It stops the country. This is a passion; our lives.
