Mercy

The first time I've listened to Luminate music was back in 2008 and since then God has been speaking to me throught their songs. This year, in January 25th, they released their full-lenght album, Come Home. I don't have any idea how many times I've listened to the title song. I do love it. But there's something that just truly hit me in the past over days.
No, Mercy doesn't care what you've done.
Have you ever stop to think how powerful is this line? Yeah, God doesn't care about what we've done. It doesn't matter if our past is really really really bad; We're sinners and God knows that but He LOVES us. He sent His son to SAVE us.

Perfection? We can try so hard, but we still will fail. What does God ask us? "Come Home. Come back to My arms". Sometimes we forget to come to Him every day, every single moment of our lives. We, in our selfishness, take Him off our lives.

Jesus died for us. He set us free from shame, from regret, from sin. He could blame us, but His Mercy covered us and now we are innocent.

You

It took six years for him to conquer her heart.
It took six months for her to admit it.

For many times I pretended I didn't want to go there and just talk with him... our typical easy conversation - How much I missed that! For many times I tried to make him invisible. I tried to forget I wanted to hold him. I couldn't... He made his choices. I made mines. Our decisions led us in different ways - So close, but so far.

The distance can make you fall in love. A hug can change everything. A "I love you" can make your heart beat again. I was dead until the day he looked me and told me "I love you". I got it. I understood what I really meant to him...
