Dreams: Meeting Meg Cabot

DSC09375
September 11th seems to be a day marked by terrible things. The World Trade Center was attacked 9 years ago. My dad had a heart attack last year. However, when I think about 09/11 just amazing memories come to my mind.

One of my biggest dreams came true: I met Meggin Patricia Cabot. Guess who was with me? You're right if you said Natacha Hahaha ;)

I remember the day I discovered she would come to Brazil. I was reading some old newspapers when I found her interview talking about one of her books. She said she would come to the Book Fair. Since that day I was so obsessive trying to know more about her visit. If she would come to Rio de Janeiro or not.

All I know I almost didn't know her. The meeting would be on sunday and my mom didn't want I missed church to go seeing her. Thanks God! The pusblisher included a meeting on friday too. I missed college and met Natacha so early at the Book Fair.

DSC09376What can I stay about this moment? We stayed there for hours waiting to know her. Then we were into. She's such a sweet person. When I told her I had been waiting for that moment for long years. She stopped signing my book, looked at me and said "aww you're so sweet" then she held me. Do you have any idea how I felt? MEG CABOT HELD ME. I still freak out when I think about this day. Our meeting was too brief, but totally unforgettable, of course.

It's something I'll remember forever.  The day I met one of my biggest inspirations

Critical

Please don't tell me it's the end of the story
Don't close the book on me
"I was stupid enough to not realize he didn't move on."
I know this isn't what I wanted
I never thought it'd come this far
Just thinking back to where we started
And how we lost all that we are
He used to like her and she never gave him a chance. She doesn't have regrets. In the beginning there were just a girl and a boy, her bff's brother. However, it changed. A friendship was born and since then they hadn't talked about his feelings. Even when she pretended he did like her just as a good friend, she could fell she was totally wrong.

Their relationship was uncommon. She knew how his touch made her feel. No, she wasn't in love with him, but he was always intense with her what made her comfortable. She used to love when he held her or when their hands were intertwined.
Used to have everything figured out
But it's different now
Their friendship haven't been the same since he started to date his girlfriend. Time passed. Nothing can stay the same. They didn't share their secrets anymore nor even talk too much with each other.

On a beautiful morning she noticed... Life could be changed but not his feelings. He was there and it was just for her - she knew that. He gave her a hug as his life depended on it. The girl's heart went boom, and she was confused at first. He stayed around the most part of time making her realize he wanted to enjoy the moments they were alone. He held her again&again.

The things between them would be always like that. Maybe they wouldn't never put a period on that extensive chapter. Maybe they wouldn't even start a new one. However, that girl was sure about one thing: she missed him.
