Hello my dears. How have you been?
I've been thinking so much about what I would write here. (Actually I think a lot... Maybe more than the necessary haha) Earlier when I was talking with my mom I decided to talk about a value. And as today is thanksgiving day so why not to mix business with pleasure?
This year seems a tragic one. I know many people die every day. However, many people I knew and liked passed by. The death is a natural thing. It makes part of the fragile human and about the Christ sacrifice. But today I'm going to talk about my dad.
Yeah you can think "what does your dad have in common with today?" ALL! Two years ago my father had a Stroke. He didn't have ANY sequelas. He smoked since he was a teenager. And one day all the smoke accumulated on his lung started to appear though some diseases.
So last year he discover he had Emphysema. He did a treatment and stop to smoke. It was the second shock.
Two months ago he had the third one. He had an heart attack. I was making my dream come true meeting Meg while my mom was going with him to hospital. He stayed there almost two weeks. The doctors did a cardiac catheterization. Now he's great. I mean it's not the same of course. No way he can't be stressful and it's one of his defects...
I only wanna say he suffered many things in his life. He should be dead. He really should be. But God just has a plan for him. My dad should be greatful, but he isn't. I'm trying to make you realize that every day we have to thank God. Because we can die two minutes from now or just right now. We never could know about when it will happen. And even if we aren't rich, don't have a mansion or a beach house we really have to be thankful because we have family, friends and mainly we have a life. Sometimes we complain so much about everything. We have to be conscious that many people would like to have the same opportunity than us.
So what are you thankful today for?
